Considering my professional activity and background in one of the independent and leading analytical centers of Uzbekistan, the internship in Georgia turned out to be very in time and useful in terms of studying the experience of the prominent think tanks of this country.
In addition, during the internship, I was able to study the methods and modern technologies that are used by Georgian analytical centers to collect, analyze information and develop different types of policy papers, briefs, and others. Moreover, it should be noted that some Georgian think thanks, although most of them are non-governmental and independent civil society institutions, in particular, the Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Studies, they organize short and mid-term capacity-building projects, seminars, and training for current public servants and diplomats on regular basis, which could be practiced also in Central Asian countries, in Uzbekistan as well.
Definitely, valuable the knowledge and skills gained during the internship will be applied in my both professional and academic activities. In particular, in writing analytical papers, and articles, implementing research projects, interacting with representatives of foreign think tanks, as well as assisting in organizing training for researchers in the field of politics and state-building.
