On April 19, 2022, the Representative Office of the Institute for War and Peace Reporting in Central Asia (IWPR CA) organized an expert meeting to discuss the military events in Ukraine and their impact on the countries of Central Asia. During the discussion, such aspects as the economic consequences of sanctions, energy security, geopolitical changes in the region, as well as issues of regional security were touched upon. (more…)
