The Representative Office of the Institute for War and Peace Reporting (IWPR) in the Kyrgyz Republic is embarking on a three-year project “Creating a Culture of Investigative Journalism for Further Democratic Reform – Linking Human Rights Organizations, Government Officials and the Media to Promote Change” with the support from the European Union.

“Labour migration and its impact on women: Problems and Perspectives” – was the topic of a roundtable held IWPR in Tajikistan in partnership with the NGO “Centre for Human Rights” and “Perspective Plus” on November 27th.

CABAR.asia 24.10.14

Twelve leading journalists from Dushanbe, Sughd , Khatlon and Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Oblasts took part in the training “Specifics of journalist investigations and coverage of sensitive topics” held by IWPR Tajikistan on October 23 and 24th with the active support  and financial assistance of International Alert.
