In 1992-1996, he was the fellow of the Institute of History at the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan. In 1997-1998, he was a correspondent of the weekly newspaper Sadam, in 1998-2003 – deputy chief editor of the weekly newspaper Javononi Tojikiston, in 2004 – acting chief editor of the weekly newspaper Odamuolam. In 2005-2006 – deputy chief editor of the weekly newspaper Millat. In 2006-2008 – chief editor of weekly newspaper Nigoh. In 2008-2013 – deputy chief editor of daily newspaper Faraj. Currently, he is a freelance journalist.
