In Kyrgyzstan, the number of people with disabilities is increasing annually, but the number of employed people with disabilities is consistently decreasing. Currently, over 190 thousand people with disabilities live in Kyrgyzstan, and 80% of them are unemployed. The coronavirus pandemic has aggravated the risk of trafficking in persons, especially for women and children, UN said.
