The citizens of Central Asian republics quarantined for two weeks criticise their authorities for improper organisation, creation of conditions for mass COVID-19 infection and developing new diseases.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, Russia has banned the entry of foreign citizens until May 1. The party impacted by this decisions are thousands of migrants from Central Asian countries, who lost their jobs at the beginning of the season.

Local authorities try to isolate the villages and plead to abstain from public events. However, the residents’ attitude to the emergency varies from fear and panic to complete neglect.
Not everyone managed to receive the assistance from the governments of Central Asian countries in due time. At the moment, many cannot return home, since the borders are closed.
Officials are claiming that the message about detection of the coronavirus on the North of the country, which alarmed the country, is not true.
