Aigerim Mussabalinova

An expert in the field of civil law of the Republic of Kazakhstan and international law on the protection of the rights of children and women.
Aigerim has a law degree, and is currently writing a doctoral dissertation at the University of Sussex (England) on the protection of the right of the child to live and be raised in the family.
Aigerim's professional experience includes protecting the interests of individuals and legal entities in courts at all levels in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The legal practice of Aigerim also constitutes a representation of national and international non-governmental organizations in government structures at both local and republican levels. Aigerim has repeatedly been in the working groups of the Government and the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan to amend the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of protecting the rights of children and supporting families. Aigerim is a member and expert of the Social Movement “A child must live in a family from the very beginning of his work” (2013).
During her doctoral research, Aigerim took courses on protecting children's rights and teaching. Throughout the study, Aigerim collaborates with Kazakhstani non-governmental organizations in the field of legislative changes, the development of methodological documents and the provision of legal advice.
