Non-governmental Non-profit Research Institution “Knowledge Caravan” was created in Tashkent in February 2017. Founder: Dr. Farkhod Tolipov. Registered by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan NNRI “Knowledge Caravan” is created with three inter-related goals: 1) development of social and human sciences (philosophy, history, sociology, political science, law, international relations, psychology, ecology and others), creation of the “Tashkent school”of social sciences and training new generation of scientists, analysts, experts and officials; 2) production and spreading across the world of new knowledge about Uzbekistan and Central Asia as well as attraction of achievements of world science to the studies of Central Asia; 3) making professional contribution to the democratic development, consolidation of the civil society, conducting reforms and strengthening peace.  More information can be found at http://www.uzbk.org

Established by the Resolution of the Provisional Government of the Kyrgyz Republic in July 2010. The Charter of the Institute was approved on June 3, 2011. The institute was created by merging three previously existing structures in the Republic: the Institute of Strategic Analysis and Evaluation under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Institute of Development of Kyrgyzstan and the Center for Advanced Development under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic. It provides scientific, analytical, informational and training support to the activities of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic in the field of economics, politics, security and public administration. It is the only such institution under the highest authorities of the Kyrgyz Republic and conducts its activities under the direct supervision of the Prime Minister of the country. The center brings together experts in the field of social, political, economic development of the countries of Central Asia and provides expert-analytical, advisory services in the development of analytical documents, strategic development plans, research in various fields, including forecast ones. Initially, the basis of the analytical group of the Polis Asia Center was the experts of the International Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, in which work was done on writing and promoting strategic documents in the field of development and conducting various studies. During its work, the Center has established contacts with leading analytical centers in Europe, the USA, Russia, China, and the countries of Central Asia. The Center for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan (hereinafter referred to as the SRC) was established in connection with the approval of the new structure of the President’s Office of the Republic of Tajikistan in order to improve the quality and efficiency in providing information and analytical support to the Government of the Republic of Tajikistanю. The center was established on the basis of the Economic Research Institute of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tajikistan, which, in turn, was transformed from the Scientific Research Institute of Economics and Mathematical Economics Planning Methods with the computing center of the State Planning Board of the Tajik SSR, created in 1971 in accordance with Resolution of the USSR State Committee on Science and Technology of April 13, 1971. In its activities, the Center is guided by the Constitution and laws of the Republic of Tajikistan, decrees, and orders of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan. Paper Lab is a research group created by young experts from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan to jointly implement research projects in the field of public policy. The PaperLab Group specializes in policy-oriented research focused on solving problems, not just diagnosing them. In analytical work, team members apply a multidisciplinary approach with a combination of academic knowledge and applied analytic skills. Institute of World Economics and Politics (IWEP) was established in 2003 and became the leading «think tank» of Kazakhstan. It is an open independent expert platform to discuss regional and global challenges of the modern world. Media Policy Institute – an independent, nonprofit organization that is focused on the development of free information space in Kyrgyzstan. Media Policy Institute is a proud successor to the Institute of Media Representative, continuing this activity in view of the ever-changing information world picture.
