The team of IWPR Central Asia in self-isolation continues to achieve its goals and develop analytics in the region and support the media sphere in Central Asian states. Using innovations and new technologies, we have managed to cover more audience. We are pleased to share our work with you, as well as to encourage you to go forward in any circumstances.
On April 27, an online meeting was held on “Citizenship and Religiosity. The experience of Kyrgyzstan.” The experts discussed whether the principles of citizenship and religiosity contradict each other and whether sacred quests are related to dissatisfaction and disappointment in the public administration system.
On the 22nd of April, the Office of the Institute for War and Peace Reporting (IWPR) in Central Asia and CABAR.asia hosted a discussion on the COVID-19 pandemic and it impact on the Chinese BRI in Central Asia, with a particular focus on how the virus might affect the project’s implementation.
