Air Pollution: What Do You Know About Causes and Consequences?

Every year, once the heating season begins, the air quality in the capital city gets worse significantly, and the city suffers from smog. By results of 2020, Kyrgyzstan ranked 8th among 106 countries according to IQ Air by air pollution.

The problem of air pollution, which is one of the most important ecological problems, is relevant to Kyrgyzstan for a long time. And only in recent few years, it has been widely discussed by the public: the first sensors of public monitoring of the atmospheric air quality were installed at the end of 2017.
