He has been an intern at the Norwegian Institute of International Affairs (Oslo, Norway) and the Parliament of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Tashkent. His research papers are published in English and Russian both in Central Asian and in foreign publishing houses. Areas of expertise: energy security, power system control instruments, regional water-power relations, domestic and foreign policy of Central Asian states.
