IWPR Kyrgyzstan: Regulation of land disputes in Bishkek

The territory of parks reduced every year. Once there the area of the park of “Ata-Tyurk” constituted 107 hectares and now the territory is only 50 hectares. Moreover, in Victory park 16 hectares allocated under structures for the benefit of business.

This audio programme went out in Russian and Kyrgyz on national radio stations in Kyrgyzstan. It was produced under two IWPR projects, Investigative Journalism to Promote Democratic Reform, funded by the European Union; and Strengthening Capacities, Bridging Divides in Central Asia, funded by the Foreign Ministry of Norway.
