Since Kazakhstan declared pandemic, over 46,000 health workers have been involved in the fight against coronavirus. As of September 23, 2020, 13,139 health workers had been infected with Covid-19, which is 22 per cent of their total number. 198 of them have died. (more…)
Kazakhstan suspended additional payments to health workers who are involved in the struggle against coronavirus despite the fact that the situation in the country got worse significantly.
The Government of the Republic of Tajikistan states that it is taking all measures to prevent COVID-19, but some medical workers have quit due to the lack of protective equipment. The expert believes that the country needs really independent trade unions, who could protect the rights of medical workers. (more…)
