Established by the Resolution of the Provisional Government of the Kyrgyz Republic in July 2010. The Charter of the Institute was approved on June 3, 2011. The institute was created by merging three previously existing structures in the Republic: the Institute of Strategic Analysis and Evaluation under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Institute of Development of Kyrgyzstan and the Center for Advanced Development under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic. It provides scientific, analytical, informational and training support to the activities of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic in the field of economics, politics, security and public administration. It is the only such institution under the highest authorities of the Kyrgyz Republic and conducts its activities under the direct supervision of the Prime Minister of the country.
