On the 29th of May the Representative Office of the Institute for War and Peace Reporting (IWPR) in Central Asia, its regional analytical platform CABAR.asia and Chatham House – the Royal Institute of International Affairs organized a joint online event related to the COVID-19 crisis and its effect on Central Asian countries.
The team of IWPR Central Asia in self-isolation continues to achieve its goals and develop analytics in the region and support the media sphere in Central Asian states. Using innovations and new technologies, we have managed to cover more audience. We are pleased to share our work with you, as well as to encourage you to go forward in any circumstances.
The problems of access to the bank loans for small and medium enterprises were discussed at a round table hosted by IWPR Tajikistan in Dushanbe.
The regional office of the Institute for War and Peace Reporting (IWPR) and the analytical platform CABAR.asia, together with the Kazakhstan’s China Study Centre, held the “China in Central Asia: A Perspective from the Region” international conference.
More than 80 religious leaders completed trainings conducted by IWPR in partnership with the Committee of Religion, Regulation of National Traditions, Celebrations and Ceremonies under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, in three districts of the GBAO: Darvoz, Vanj Districts and in the city of Khorog, from the 1st to 5th of October.

The publication “Sinology Schools in Central Asia: Problems and Prospects” was developed by the IWPR Representative Office in Central Asia together with analysts of the regional analytical platform CABAR.asia.
