IWPR activities in Central Asia
On March 17-18, the seventh Central Asian festival Go Viral was held in Tashkent. This is the first in a series of festivals this year that will take place in all Central Asian countries.
How can the countries in the region rethink their soviet past, decrease the impact of propaganda and find their identity? For three days, experts, researchers, activists and media specialists discussed the first steps of Central Asia towards decolonisation, and tools and solutions in Almaty.
On March 10, 2023, Institute for War and Peace Reporting regional representative office in Central Asia (IWPR CA) held an international expert panel exploring the changing geopolitical agendas of the US and the EU toward Central Asia.
